Located on the ground floor, The Dining Room is a bright, sophisticated space that embodies timeless elegance and offers captivating views of Royden Park, the Dee Estuary, and the distant Welsh mountains.

Lavishly appointed, it features opulent gilded Louis XV armchairs arranged around generously spaced tables dressed to perfection with silver cutlery, Irish linen, and Swarovski crystal napkin rings. The room’s decor is a seamless blend of classic luxury and quiet contemporary charm, with leather-covered ceilings, grass-clad walls, and black-and-white images celebrating an aspirational lifestyle—from fast cars and luxury yachts to movie icons and equestrian pursuits. We pride ourselves on a dedication to the very best of British craftsmanship, extending far beyond the kitchen and into every aspect of the dining experience. From the artisan crockery and Irish damask linen to the meticulously crafted Sheffield silver cutlery that took four years to perfect, we believe that every detail should enhance the joy of dining. Even the stag-handled steak knives are designed to fit perfectly in your hand, a small yet significant touch that speaks to our commitment to quality.

Our philosophy is simple: to celebrate the finest British ingredients with every dish, all sourced from local, sustainable suppliers. From Welsh beef, lamb, and pork from Kinmel Bay, to chicken and duck from Goosnargh, and venison from Bowland, every ingredient arrives as a whole animal and is butchered in-house, ensuring maximum flavour and minimal waste. Our fish and shellfish are sourced from the shores of Birkenhead and Anglesey, all caught sustainably and chosen for their superior freshness.

With every dish, we celebrate the exceptional quality of British produce, bringing it to life with expert preparation and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Contessa Sharing Roast

Our Contessa Sharing Roast Dinner is designed to bring people together, just like a traditional Sunday at home. The head of the table will carve a beautifully cooked joint of meat, served with a selection of seasonal vegetables, rich gravy, and all the classic accompaniments.

Dress Code

Strictly no sportswear e.g. tracksuit bottoms and hooded sweatshirts. Smart trainers are acceptable. We would like our guests to be able to express their own individual style, however, we find the majority of our guests like to dress smartly.

Failure to adhere to the dress code will result in your reservation not being fulfilled and the full cancellation policy will apply.
