The exquisite Minstrels Gallery houses a Foster and Andrews pipe organ, while the room is illuminated by a set of eight William Morris stained-glass windows, six of which were painted by the pre-Raphaelite Edward Burne-Jones. At its heart is a monumental Tudor fireplace, once Saint Thomas More’s altar piece, a rare and significant artifact that offers a tangible connection to pre-Elizabethan social history.
