A Tribute to Resilience
On 31st January 2020, history took an unexpected turn when the isolation ward at Arrowe Park became home to patients from a quarantined cruise liner. During this challenging time, doctors and nurses were relocated to Hillbark Hotel and Leverhulme, where we had the honour of providing them with a welcoming retreat.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Hillbark extended its hospitality beyond traditional accommodations, offering Afternoon Tea at Home to provide comfort and joy to those unable to visit in person.
Additionally, we introduced drive-by experiences, where families could enjoy a magical moment with Disney character dress-ups, creating cherished memories while maintaining safety measures. These initiatives became a symbol of hope and happiness during difficult times, reinforcing our commitment to the community.
