Heritage and Horsepower: A Classic Car Celebration

Hillbark Hotel & Spa, in collaboration with The Wirral Classic Car Club, is thrilled to host a Classic Car Touring & Static Assembly on Saturday 1st June, and you’re invited to be part of the action!

This special event will feature a stunning display of classic cars registered before 31st December 2000, with vehicles parked on the top car park of the hotel from 11am to 3pm for guests to admire, photograph, and learn about from their proud owners.

Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a lover of heritage and craftsmanship, or simply looking for a great family day out, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

What to Expect:

  • An impressive collection of vintage vehicles lovingly restored and maintained by passionate owners.

  • A chance to chat with vehicle owners and enthusiasts about the stories behind their classics.

  • Family-friendly fun with refreshments available to purchase throughout the day.

  • Explore the beautiful surroundings, including Royden Park Walled Garden and Roodee Mere, just a short stroll away.

  • Optional tours of Hillbark Hotel & Spa, showcasing the building’s fascinating heritage and luxury interiors.

Prizes & Trophies

Adding to the excitement will be a series of fun, judge-led prize categories presented by Craig Baker (Hotel Owner) and Amanda Arends (Hotel Manager):

  • The vehicle they wish they had owned at 21

  • The vehicle they’d like to take on a weekend away

  • The vehicle they’d give to their parents

  • The vehicle they’d give to their spouse

Plus, the Bob Troop Founders Trophy will be awarded to the vehicle and owner that best represent the year of manufacture — a true honour for classic car lovers.

Please note that there will be no on-site parking available for this event. We kindly ask guests to park at Royden Park Car Park (Wirral Borough Council rates apply) and enjoy a scenic walk down to Hillbark Hotel.
